Bio
Julian Beard brings over a decade of head coaching experience and a proven record of program building, athlete development, and championship success to the collegiate level. A native of Jackson, Tennessee, and a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, Beard has established himself as a transformational leader who elevates teams both on the field and in the classroom.
Most recently at Henry County High School, Beard led both boys’ and girls’ programs to sustained winning seasons while guiding the girls’ team to their first district championship in over a decade, followed by a regional runner-up finish and substate appearance. Previously at Haywood High School, he led the girls’ team to the first district championship in program history and guided the boys’ team to a substate appearance in his first season, while elevating overall program performance. At Milan High School, he led the boys’ program to a regional tournament appearance within his first year.
A two-time District Coach of the Year and holder of multiple U.S. Soccer coaching licenses, Beard is respected for his ability to mentor young athletes, build strong team cultures, and develop players prepared to compete and succeed at the collegiate level.
